The drive
- From the airport head towards the NH73 via the Mangaluru outskirts.
- Drive inland through Bantwal side towns to Ujire.
- Climb the Charmadi Ghat to Kottigehara and Mudigere.
- Continue to Chikkamagaluru, then take the road towards Hirekolale and Ulluvagilu.
