There are two Haven villas at the resort, so on weekends and long holidays they are usually the first to go.

What is a bio pool?

A bio pool is cleaned naturally by plants and a gravel filter rather than chlorine. The water is soft, there is no chemical smell and it fits right into the estate around it. It is made for a slow dip and a lazy afternoon rather than laps.

Perfect for couples

Haven is our favourite pick for honeymoons, anniversaries and birthdays. Add a candle-lit dinner, flower decoration or a cake and we will set it all up. Read our honeymoon guide for ideas.

Travelling as a family or group?

Our bigger villas do not have pools, but they come with private gardens and bio ponds. Seren Manor sleeps six while Twin Lotus and Twin Peaks sleep four. Many families book Haven alongside a larger villa so the couple in the group gets the pool.

When to book

October to February is peak season in Chikmagalur and the pool villas fill up early. Summer, from March to May, is also popular because a pool is welcome on warm afternoons. Book two to four weeks ahead for weekends.
